Both the original version and version II have long since been discontinued...
... but to the delight of all fans, the Apple Extended Keyboard has been virtually 'reborn' in the Matias Tactile Pro!
The Matias Tactile Pro FK302-EN keyboard is equipped with exactly the same high-quality keyswitch technology as the Apple Extended: Every single key is controlled by an individual, mechanical switch of the brand Alps Electric brand. These switches provide a great typing feel and let you type faster than conventional keyboards. Thanks to the so-called N-key rollover you can get the most out of your typing speed, the Matias keyboard will absorb every stroke and not 'forget' any.
The sound of the Matias keyboard is also legendary: it sounds (almost) like a real, old typewriter and is therefore actually even more authentic than ours Filco (which, by the way, can also be 'typed' wonderfully).
The keyboard layout in this version is designed for German Mac users and has the typical Mac labelingbut Windows or Linux users need not be sad, because the Tactile Pro FK302-DE also works with these operating systems.
